You’re not alone. We can walk alongside you on this journey.

Whether you’re rebuilding relationships or navigating systemic challenges, we walk with you toward meaningful reconnection.

LGBTQ+ family reunification involves reconnecting with parents, siblings, friends, and children which may include navigating complex and often stigmatizing systems. Peer support services are here for individuals while rebuilding family connections. These services offer affirming spaces where people can feel seen, heard, and valued by a peer with lived experience.

Providing Peer Support through the lens of lived experience.

  • Reunited

LGBTQ+ families affected by substance use disorder face disproportionately high rates of child removal due to the combined impacts of stigma, discrimination, and systemic bias. These families are often scrutinized more harshly, making it harder to access the support needed for recovery and stability. Family reunification is a crucial goal, offering healing, restoration, and the chance to rebuild safe, loving relationships. Supportive, affirming services provided by a peer with lived experience, sharing hope and inspiration, are essential to the journey.

  • Reconnected

For many LGBTQ+ individuals, coming out can lead to the painful loss of connection with family due to rejection, misunderstanding, or fear. This loss can leave deep emotional scars and a lasting sense of isolation. Reconnecting with family—whether through healing conversations, time, or supportive services—can be incredibly powerful. There are no guarantees in this journey. We’re here to support no matter the outcome. Sometimes, building a family of choice is a way to feel connected. You deserve to feel loved, and we are here to support you, through connection to peers with lived experience.
